AIMEN
AIMEN are highly specialized in advanced manufacturing technologies, especially joining technologies and laser technologies applied to materials processing, robotics and automation.
Our main activity focuses on the development of high performing functional surfaces through high precision laser manufacturing sustainable processes, with the aim of providing extra functionalities to different mechanical or optical elements, like wettability control, wear resistance or extremely advanced optical functions.
Heidelberg Instruments Mikrotechnik GmbH
Heidelberg Instruments Mikrotechnik GmbH, is an innovative solution provider and global manufacturer for maskless 3D Laser Lithography Equipment for additive, subtractive and ablative manufacturing processes based on Two-Photon Polymerization (TPP) technology.
With Heidelberg Instruments engagement in publicly funded projects and an active cooperation with the involved projects partners, we further develop the 3D Lithography direct laser writing technology via Two-Photon-Polymerization (TPP). While working along value chains, the creation of new functional structures for 21st century products and applications across industries are enhanced.
IMT Atlantique
IMT Atlantique is an elite French “Grande Ecole” or graduate Engineering School and Research Centre in the field of engineering science and information technologies. Its mission is to prepare the new generation of engineers and managers to face future challenges, to deal with complex problems, to understand increasingly networked systems, but also and above all to be responsible agents for change in the world. The research activities of the IMT Atlantique Optics Department centre on optical communications and signal processing, the engineering of liquid crystal polymer composites for new optical functions (e.g. telecom, personal protection, security techniques, sensors, etc.) and the design, fabrication and applications of diffractive optics. Through its Arago technology development platform (>160m² cleanroom) the optics department has specialised in the rapid prototyping liquid crystal composite devices and diffractive optics components both for its own research activities and projects and those of its numerous academic and industrial partners.
Fraunhofer
The Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Systems and Device Technology IISB conducts applied research and development in the field of electronic systems for application in, e.g., electric mobility, aerospace, Industry 4.0, power grids or energy technology. In this connection, the institute uniquely covers the entire value chain - from basic materials to whole power electronic systems.
As part of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, the IISB does contract research for industry as well as public authorities. On that note it is the institute’s main objective to provide excellent research for its industrial partners and to set technological benchmarks as one of the leading research institutions in electronic systems. A tightly woven network build out of local and international partnerships and cooperations helps to carry these aims into effect.
FORTH: FOUNDATION FOR RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGYHELLAS
FORTH conducts specialized scientific research in strategic high-added value sectors, focusing on interdisciplinary research and development (R&D) activities in areas of major scientific, societal and economic interest.
The Farsari Lab researches Light-based Additive Manufacturing (LAM) at the micro and nanoscale. We investigate LAM applications in photonics, mechanical and electromagnetic metamaterials, medical implants, and biofabrication.
